Charles Dickens Elementary

Charles Dickens Elementary is a public elementary school in Vancouver, British Columbia part of School District 39 Vancouver. Dickens, and Dickens Annex, are the only schools in the district which have multi-age groupings. That is, classes are 3-4 grades mixed together. Multi-age grouping is a method of school organization in which children of different ages are grouped together in classes on the basis of philosophy rather than for administrative reasons. Students stay with the same teacher for up to 4 years in this alternative program.

Vancouver Community College

An exciting new $55 million campus expansion opened earlier this year adds to VCC”s long tradition of program, teaching and service excellence. This newest facility helps the college continue that tradition with the best possible facilities, programs and services for students and communities.
